Wondering if anyone here has tried or feeds loyall dog food and what you think about it.

We have fed a bunch of different feeds and seems every time the food is going well the companies either cheapen the ingredients or " Change the formula" and print New and Improved Angry when it is anything but and I am here to say I am seriously finding CHANGE a big let down meaning less for more, pasty sticky stools. etc

So back to the Loyall why I am considering it we were given a couple bags to try which are 50 pound bags the dogs seem to Love it actually some are literally picking out the loyall kibbles to eat first the one pointer who is quick to drop weight specially on a new food is maintaining will see in a few more days if it helps to gain weight..This is just a barely a week worth of testing

Looking for the bigger picture

Thank you

I used a couple bags of loyall right after I got Sam.  He did fine, and so did the little yarddog cur.  I switched to Hunters Edge by Arkat a couple of bags ago.  He does fine on it also.  It's also cheaper.  24-18 is what i use of it.  Of the Loyall, I used two kinds, and they were similar.  A couple of bags ago, the local feedstore only had Maintenance Loyall, so that's when I switched.

Well here is my update on the loyall dog food...the younger dogs and trial and guide dogs are getting the Performance and the regular dogs are getting the maintenance it has been going on almost 3 weeks for some of the dogs where we got the 100 pounds to start with and there is a difference  Coats are getting softer and have a nice glisten to them not oily which for kennel dogs I am impressed

even the dogs that have been on it a little less time I also see improvement in their coats

the pointers i see an increase in body weight on them

and they are starting to eat less

the energy level has gone up in the dogs so to me it really looks like the professional 24 protein is giving the dogs more nutrition and energy then the exceed 30 protein even the loyall maintenance is proving to be more then adequate on what the dogs are getting from it...wish it came in a 50 pound bag also I seriously would test it out on the active dogs and see how the maintain on it ...I would bet it also would prove to be better then the exceed.
Kennel clean up has gotten easier also

so as long as they keep things the way they are I am a happy camper and my dogs are looking good and doing well

Sounds good.  I had fed a bag of Adult and a bag of Active Adult a few months ago, the my feedstore only had Maintenace, so I have used a few bags of Hunters Edge by Arkat. Sam and my yarddog do well on any of it.

Today the feedstore had a bag of Active Adult Loyall(27-19), so I got it, and started feeding it again. He will get me a bag of Performance(31-20), and I will get it in a couple of weeks, feed it, and compare.  I will be interested in the usual results such as coat, energy, stools etc. plus the amount needed.  The prices of the two is about the same here.

It's easy for me to experiment because I only feed a couple of dogs and a cat. Due to that, I can afford any of the feeds, but as a principle, I don't like to feed products that cost say more than 75 cents a pound as it's kinda silly.
